LC&ES French Rally

This will take place 17 th - 21st September 2026 and will again be centred on the Castel
d’Ailly in Ste. Marguerite sur Mer, about 8 miles West of Dieppe .
This will follow the well tried formula for French Light Car rallies ….
Thursday : Arrival
at the Castel mid afternoon 17 th … distribution of rally information,
find accommodation.. & in the evening a Vin d’honneur, with a welcome from
the mayor of Ste Marguerite &
informal supper .
Friday :A scatter rally in the surrounding area , with
supper at thé ‘Salle des Fêtes ‘ in Ste Marguerite.
Saturday : free day
Sunday : Driving tests & picnic in the grounds of the
Dieppe Hippodrome . Evening : bussed
back to the Hippodrome for the ‘Gala Dinner ‘ Monday : Dispersal .
This time we have been unable to find a suitable (& affordable !) location big enough to
take more than 150 people ( The chateau of Varengeville was already booked for
all of September ) so we will have to limit the entry to 65 cars on a first
come first served basis .
Also, again about
50 people will be able stay at the Castel d’Ailly , so for those who want to
enjoy this adequate , but basic, cheap
accommodation will need to get their names down early !
Entries & regs should be out mid February .
We will do our very best to ensure everyone has a good
time !
