Surrey Tour
14 Jun 2026

Particularly attractive to members from
South London and the southern Home Counties, the Surrey Hills Tour will
take place on Sunday 14th June 2026. Now entering its third year, the
organisers are planning a fresh route that reveals new, unspoiled corners of
this unexpectedly beautiful county of forests, hills, heaths and delightful
villages. As ever, the emphasis will be on quiet rural roads - fun to drive,
suitable for a wide spectrum of pre-war and pre 1959 cars, yet spirited enough
to lift the heart.
The day begins with a hearty breakfast,
offering ample time to admire the cars and enjoy relaxed conversation with
fellow enthusiasts, always one of the great pleasures of coming together as a
club. At approximately 75 miles, the 2026 route will be slightly shorter,
making the event easier for those traveling from farther afield and allowing
more time for sightseeing and an unhurried, sociable lunch. Clear, simple route
instructions aim to keep the day stress-free for both drivers and navigators.
Pre-war Aston Martins and MGs will be especially
welcomed, with invitations going out to the respective owners’ clubs. However,
the Tour has always drawn a wonderfully eclectic mix of cars, and is a superb
day out for everyone, whether your passion is Alfa Romeo or Austin, Riley or
Rolls-Royce, Bentley or Bugatti, Vauxhall or Lagonda. Join us for
the drive or simply come along to make and meet friends, support your club, and
enjoy the spectacle.
