For the third year running Pembrey Circuit plays host to the Welsh Speed Weekend, with the added feature of the famous VSCC Team Relay Race for 2012. The circuit provides a warm welcome to all competitors, marshals and supporters attending the event, with the onsite Formula 1 Bar providing great value catering and live Saturday evening entertainment for all those in attendance. Camping is also available at the circuit, within the infield complex. This whole weekend has a truly ‘clubby’ atmosphere, providing a challenging sprint track, close racing and a great social atmosphere.
PEMBREY SPRINT SATURDAY 14 JULY
2011 saw the inaugural Pembrey Sprint go down a storm with competitors and marshals alike, so a return visit for 2012 was always on the cards! This challenging course starts from the pit lane, taking in Hatchets Hairpin, Spitfires, Esses, Brooklands Hairpin and eventually finishes on the Speedway Straight. There will also be a vintage car park.
