Vintage Welsh Rally
14 Oct 2012
Presteigne, Powys, LD8 2BE
Competitors of this year’s Welsh Rally can expect a route taking them through beautiful Welsh countryside, whilst maintaining a comfortable average speed, suitable for daytime vintage rallying. The staple of Class Zero (renamed Champagne for 2012 onwards) will continue to form an integral part of the weekend, allowing competitors with a less-competitive tendency to participate, enjoy and engage with this terrific weekend in the Club’s calendar.
If you have never tried rallying before this is the event for you, as the atmosphere is friendly, the socialising is outstanding, and the countryside is jaw-droppingly beautiful – you never know – you may even pick up an award! For those who are competitive to the core, we will, as usual, provide you with a good solid route and instructions which are clear and concise without too much complexity. The event will once again conclude at Cwm Whitton farm yard, allowing all participants to enjoy the spectacle of the Welsh Trials final sections, before results are announced.
