Lakeland Trial

The Club’s Winter trials season continues with the annual pilgrimage north to the stunning surroundings of the Lake District. As ever based in the Lorton/Keswick area, the day’s organizers, the Smith family, welcome competitors for what will inevitably prove another thrilling day of motor sport; entries are sure to flood the Office with members always eager to test their Pre-war car and their own driving skills against some of the most challenging sections of the year, not least the infamous Drumhouse – always atop the VSCC ‘to-do’ list, the twisting climb to the summit is the ultimate trialling challenge and successful clearance can prove reward enough for the day’s efforts.
