John Harris (Derbyshire) Trial

Following long-time organiser David Hill’s retirement as Clerk of our annual John Harris Trial, fellow Derbyshire natives and VSCC Members Steve Fathers and Andrew Staples take the reins in 2013 with the experienced help of Tony Costigan from the previous regime. The new custodians are pleased to announce that we will be starting and finishing the 2013 event at the picturesque village of Ashover. The Village Hall has good facilities, ample parking and has the added bonus of being situated within 200 metres of 3 hostelries!
They hope to have some new hills on offer and would welcome any information from members who know of any willing landowners situated within 20 miles of Ashover, who may provide a potential section. Get your entries in early for the new edition of one of the Club’s most well-loved annual events! We look forward to seeing you for what we hope will continue to be a most enjoyable day.
