John Harris (Derbyshire) Trial 2021
With the country in the grip of Covid, last week the decision was made to either cancel or postpone the VSCC Spring trials to April.
Working with the current calendar of events we ended up with two trials keen to run but insufficient weekends to accommodate them.
Our trials are unique due to their locations and atmosphere, and all have their loyal fans, so this was a difficult decision.
We have taken into account many factors, particularly the tier that each local area is likely be in at the end of the current lockdown, and after consulting with Ben Wildsmith and Mark Garfitt have decided to run the Herefordshire Trial over the weekend of 24th/25th April.
We share the disappointment of those who cherish the John Harris, and thank Ben and his team for their preparatory work, but we look forward to returning to Ashover in 2022.
We are working with Mark Garfitt on the Herefordshire Trial to make sure it is safe and enjoyable for Marshals, Competitors and locals.
