HILL CLIMBS
TIDD & INGHAM TROPHY
Awarded to the tenth fastest of the slowest times overall i.e. the tenth from the bottom of the overall results. The concept being to provide some degree of interest and competition for those at the back of the entry field who were unlikely to be in the awards.
Tidd & Ingham Trophy (to be held for a nominal period of one year) eligibility for this trophy requires competitors to compete in both Round 6 & 7 of the Speed Championship and it will be the times in Round 7 which will be taken into consideration.
When Norman Tidd finished in a lowly position with his Austin 12/4 he (and Alf Ingham) put up The Tidd and Ingham Trophy.
